The North Carolina Volunteer Workforce Solutions (NCVWS) program is hosting a virtual class to discuss leadership skills in diversity and inclusion with a focus on engagement. Join Ali Rothrock, CEO of On the Job and Off, on Thursday, March 11 at 7 PM ET as she shares some insights.

In this session, Ali will share her story of the early experiences she had at the beginning of her volunteer firefighting career. This will lead into topics like the benefits of a diverse workforce and how to embrace those who don’t fit the typical stereotype of a firefighter. Ali will talk about the importance of our ranks representing the community we serve and will end with some resources to help learn more.

This class is sponsored by the North Carolina Association of Fire Chiefs’ FEMA SAFER grant and is complimentary to all who want to attend.

Questions, contact Derek Bullington.

Registration closes Tuesday, March 9 at 11:30 PM ET.
